One of the largest glass sculptures ever produced, with a total weight of more than 4.5 metric tons.
The sarcophagus stands out not only because of its size (3.7 m x 1.2 m), but also thanks to its perfect workmanship, which required the production of six pieces that would fit together perfectly to create one single whole. The studio even constructed a new building for polishing and finishing the sculpture. The final work is not accessible to the public, for it is awaiting its future role in the queen’s state funeral.
