For these sculptures intended for a hotel lobby, the artist sought to create something fun, grand, and distinctive. The client’s basic request – to produce two large glass bunnies – represented a difficult task. The artist’s final vision was to design them like “an old-fashioned teddy bear.”

The rabbits are made of EX Glass, a special low-expansion glass with an original structure. They were assembled on site, with the various pieces glued together. The reclining male rabbit is 182 cm long and the foot-tapping female rabbit is 161 cm tall.

Today, the bunnies are an interesting attraction in the hotel’s lobby and bar.
